Trpanj is a small pitoresque resort situated on north-western part of Peljesac peninsula in county of Dubrovnik, Croatia. 
Traditionaly fishing village, Trpanj is known inhabited location since pre-historic times, which is confirmed by archeological findings in Trpanj.
Nowdays, although there are still some small fishing boats moored in the Trpanj's harbour, Trpanj is working on it's touristic development, still maintaining traditional look and feel of traditional Mediterannean townlet.
Still without major commercial tourism development, Trpanj remains interesting travel destination for all wanting not to taste commercial spirit of all inclusive resort (although there is one commercial hotel here as well). But preffered destination for those who want to get away from intensive living and find peace and relaxation in Trpanj beautiful beaches and small bays, traditional taverns, or enjoy unspoiled nature during long seaside walks.
